The institute THA_innos works on behalf of companies and public funding bodies on IT security topics: from the development of secure products and forensic analyses to the protection of entire industrial plants.

The institute HSA_ired, consisting of four research groups from the Faculties of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, develops highly innovative solutions for the efficient processing of data in the fields of autonomous driving, image driving, image processing, artificial intelligence, radar technology and embedded systems.

Together with partners from industry and research, the institute THA_ias develops innovative software solutions for digitalization projects. Agile system development methods are applied and further developed.

Approved language certificates must not be more than two years old.

All modules in this program are taught in English.

No formal proof of proficiency in English or German is required for admission to the degree program. However, in order to be able to follow the courses reasonably, we strongly recommend English language skills at level B2 or higher (according to CEFR). Since German is the official language in Germany, the more proficient you are in German, the easier will be your transition from your home country into the German university system and everyday life. Furthermore, German skills will greatly increase your chances in getting a student job and/or an internship at a German company. You may start with little or no German language proficiency, but you should gain at least level B1 during your studies. A variety of German courses are offered by THA's Language Center to help you learn German quickly and well.

In addition to the mandatory documents, further documents can be submitted voluntarily in order to improve your chances of gaining a study place:

• defined German tests with at least A2 level and/or
• defined English tests with at least B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; improvement of the score by 2

The application for a study place in the interdisciplinary study program "International Information Systems" (Internationale Wirtschaftsinformatik) requires besides linguistic aptitude, an interest in information technology and business administration, but above all curiosity, inventiveness and creativity as well as logical thinking skills. We are looking for particularly motivated and committed applicants. We use the aptitude testing procedure for this purpose.
