DSH Preparatory Course
Students with a foreign qualification for admission to higher education must obtain certification of their German language proficiency before their studies can begin. This can be obtained through either of these two language tests; the DSH-Prüfung or the TestDaF-Prüfung. Both are available at Augsburg UAS. The university also offers intensive preparatory courses for both examinations.
You are eligible for the DSH preparatory course, DSH-Vorbereitungskurs, if you have a post secondary qualification, i.e. a qualification that allows you to study at university. To register for the course you must have an evaluation of your foreign educational qualifications. You can get this evaluation from uni-assist.
Before registration, Anmeldung, you must also provide evidence that your German is at least level B1 according to CEF. A personal interview will be held to find out if your German is sufficient for the course.
In just one semester, the course aims to prepare you for the DSH test and allow for a swift qualification to study a university or university of applied sciences.
