The text was copied from The Odes of Casimire, (London, 1646), as reprinted by the Augustan Reprint Society (Los Angeles, 1953). The 1646 edition contains the Latin text, along with an English translation by G. Hils.

I didn't try to make a precise copy of this text: I corrected the obvious typographical errors (e.g. porcul - procul, comantnium - comantium, Lucicer - Lucifer, etc.); I made some changes in spelling, punctuation, and capitalization, in the hope of improving the text's readability; and I made some more substantial changes, which have been noted below.
