Inhalte

 

Your success in the world of work will depend largely on your ability to communicate effectively in English. Many German companies are global players. Group activities and pair work provide you with a lot of speaking practice enabling you to improve your language skills and confidence.  Furthermore, completion of the recommended homework and self-study tasks make the course even more effective.

Among the topics covered are:

  • Social interaction – introductions, small talk
  • Writing minutes
  • E-mail writing
  • Holding short presentations
  • Describing trends and change
  • Talking about products and their technical aspects - process descriptions
  • Discussing topics related to your course of studies
  • Integrating reading and listening skills - enabling effective, confident interaction about a variety of business and technical topics
  • Consolidating previously learned - and acquiring new business and technical vocabulary
  • Talking and writing about your studies (school and university) in Germany and abroad
  • Talking about work culture, internships and CV's
  • Talking money and finance
  • Develop your self-study skills and become an independent and motivated English-language learner
