Architectural design exercises for divisive and additive joining as
basis of spatial design; basics of design with natural light; a concrete design project in the usual scale levels digitally-drawing correct capture and represent; the common planning conventions in the representation of architectural elements in floor plan, view and cut; imparting knowledge of the necessary measures for file backup and the various inputs and output equipment; practice of drawing techniques in the 2D and 3D range.

Qualification objectives

Students apply different digital design methods and show safe handling of devices and programs for computer-aided display in architectural area. You are familiar with the common methods for visualizing design concepts.
Students apply digital tools such as 3D modeling, rendering, layout and image editing. You are using a CAD program to create architectural drawings in the form of design and construction drawings using the example of a small building, read the common planning conventions in the construction sector and apply these.
Students appreciate the advantages and disadvantages of different design and presentation tools and adapt them to the respective task.
