Recording and evaluation of an existing urban situation with its deficiencies and development opportunities, conceptual design of a reorganization taking into account typical restrictions, shaping of the urban development and, if necessary, constructional subprojects in feedback, preparation in plan representations, spatial illustrations and models.
Practical exercise in the scales 1:1.000, if necessary 1:500, conversion of the urban design into a regular development plan.

Qualification objectives

Students have become familiar with the basic concepts of land use planning and are aware of their differentiated significance and interactions. They have developed basic skills in urban design in the given urban context. The students are able to largely independently convert an urban design into a development plan.
