PAS4PCM

Jan 1, 2022 - Dec 31, 2024

Predictive maintenance optimizes the maintenance of machines by preventing unplanned downtime and unnecessary repairs. The implementation is made possible by modern machine learning methods and a well-developed data infrastructure. In the research project PAS4PCM – in cooperation with Rational AG and on the basis of collected device data – the research group HSA_dsg of the Faculty of Computer Science at the Technical University of Augsburg is developing a concept and an implementation of such a system.

Ecological timber hybrid construction methods for multi-storey buildings

Feb 1, 2019

The topics of "sustainability" and "resource efficiency" are on everyone's lips and are also increasingly coming into focus at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, or have long been a research focus. On this occasion, a project idea has been developed at the Institute for Timber Construction at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences (HSA_ifh) in cooperation with two industrial partners, which is intended to replace classic ceiling construction methods using the climate-damaging building materials cement and steel with efficient and ecological hybrid constructions made of wood and calcium sulfate. This project will be funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection (StMUV) for 36 months from July 2019 as part of the "ForCYCLE II" project network.
