Content

This course is originally intended for the International Business Engineers (Internationale Wirtschaftsingenieure – IWIs) doing their second English course, and to other interested students from other faculties, both of whom have already reached a high level of English. The course is based on the four communications skills reading, writing, listening, and speaking and is suitable for those students who wish to develop their advanced language skills in the language. It is at Level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and is intended to help students develop these skills to make the most of studying and working in English-speaking countries. These skills will be developed in partner, group and class discussions. It is an inquiry-based English course built around creative real-life tasks, and is divided into inspiring collaborative projects emphasising Business and Technical content.
