This course is for our international exchange students whose Germnan is already on level A1. This means, all students participating in this course should have basic knowledge of verb in present and past tense, modal verbs, declination of noun markers and pronouns.

We will practise vocabulary & grammar and the four language skills on level A2: listening (short monologues, dialogues, radio podcasts), reading (short texts, job ads, dialogues), writing (short texts about personal topics) and speaking.

Students will acquire general and also selective reading and listening skills.

The basic knowledge of vocabulary and grammar will be enhanced: subordinate clauses, reflexive verb, phrasal verbs, declination of adjectives as well as the topics work and profession. These new skills will be practised with the aid of different methods such as group work, partner work and panel discussions.
