Content

 

This course is for international students with previous knowledge at A1.2 level (100 hours of German lessons). Basic knowledge of verb conjugation in the present and perfect tense, imperative, modal verbs, separable verbs, article declension in the nominative, dative and accusative case as well as personal and possessive pronouns is required.

In the A2.1 course, the skills of listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing and speaking are practiced with the topics "Leisure time/at the restaurant", "After school", "Media", "Feelings", "Life in the city" and "Working environments".

Students acquire global and selective reading and listening comprehension using simple, authentic texts.

Basic vocabulary and basic grammar skills are expanded:

  • Modal verbs in the perfect and preterite tenses
  • Verbs in the perfect and past tense
  • Sentence structure
  • Adjectives: comparative, superlative
  • Prepositions: temporal and local prepositions
  • Adjective declension
  • Causal subordinate clauses and dass-sentences

The acquired knowledge is practiced in various working and social forms (partner work, small group work, plenary).
