Content

 

This course is for international students with previous knowledge at B1.1 level.

In the B1.2 course, the skills of listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing and speaking are practised with the topics "Relationships, friendship & conflicts", "Health", "Art & theatre", "Work & job search", "Society & politics" and "City & transport".

Students acquire global and selective reading and listening comprehension using authentic texts.

Basic vocabulary and grammar skills are improved:

  • Past perfect tense
  • Subordinate clauses with bevor, bis, seit/seitdem, nachdem, während
  • Two-part connectors
  • Reflexive pronouns in the accusative and dative case
  • Sentence position
  • Passive in the present, past and perfect tenses
  • Passive with modal verb

The acquired knowledge is practised in various working and social forms (partner work, small group work, plenary).
