Current information on library operations

Update 11/9/21:

Since 11/9/21 the hospital traffic light in Bavaria has been at red level. The only thing that changes for visiting the library is that the yellow and red levels change that you have to wear an FFP2 mask. A negative antigen rapid test or a negative self-test carried out at the HSA under supervision is sufficient as proof of being tested. (see cabinet meeting of the Bavarian State Government on November 3, 2021, paragraph 3.3 (1) and (2)).

NEW in winter semester 2021/2022

A 3G certificate (vaccinated, tested, recovered) is required to use the library (see 14th Bavarian Infection Protection Ordinance, §3).

Please show your certificate and your CCA or your identity card to the security service in the entrance area of the library without being asked. From 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, the 3G control takes place at the information desk (first floor).

For pupils tested at least twice a week in school, the student card is sufficient as 3G proof.

Almost all PC and reading room work places can be used again without having to register at the information desk. Please wear a face mask during your entire visit of the library.
