On the page opposite to where the baptismal records begin,

the following inscription is found:

„Die Zeit wird kommen

Und zum Teufel hin die Lämmer führen.“

„The time will come

when for the chastisement of all true believers [literally, all the pious]

bears and wolves will reign here

and lead the lambs to the devil.“
