Here's a list of what you need if you want to build your own Hello Robot.
Tech
- Arduino Uno/comparable boards
- external power source
- breadboard & cables
- 2x 180° servos with joint
Arm & Hand
How you want to build the arm is really up to you. Let your creativity run wild. Light materials are recommended.
- wood/other sturdy material for arm
- wire for attaching arm to servo
- optional: paper/other material for paper arm shell
- glue
- Paper/other light material for hands
- for exchangable hands: strong velcro
Box
The box contains and hides the tech, holds the servo, and offers a big enough base to counteract the momentum created by the movement of Hello Robot. The top can be taken off to take out the servo and arduino. You might find another solution, though.
