Apr 9, 2024
Berlin

The DMEA, formerly known as conhIT, is the largest event for digital health in Europe. Every year, it brings together experts from healthcare, politics, industry and science to present and discuss the latest developments and innovations in the field of healthcare IT. The DMEA provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices as well as for networking between experts and decision-makers in the healthcare sector. The event will focus on electronic patient records, telemedicine, digital health applications and cyber security in the healthcare sector.

This year's event took place from 9 to 11 April in Berlin at the exhibition centre. The DigiPÜB project, a sub-project of the joint research project CARE REGIO, was present at the joint stand of Bayerin Innovativ and presented the prototype "PIO-ÜB Editor".

DigiPÜB was recognised by many visitors as a pioneering solution for care challenges. The new standard for care transfer reports (PIO-ÜB) was the first in Germany to be implemented as a viewer and editor and made available free of charge as an open source product. The aim is to promote cross-sector interoperability in discharge management in order to improve patient care and relieve the burden on nursing staff.

The web version of the prototype is available at https://pio-editor.de. The source code can be viewed at https://lnkd.in/dKfHYSYq and executed locally on your own computer.
