Playing the

whole octave

In this lesson we will first have a look to the so-called enharmonic equivalents. An enharmonic equivalent is just another name for the same tone. For example, d' flat is the same tone as c' sharp and g' is the same tone as f '. It’s just a different way to name it. See the fingering charts for the two examples:
